Built Around the Existing Space
Prepare the surface. Improve the systems. Refinish the suite.
Existing flooring was removed to expose the concrete slab. Mechanical preparation and residual-adhesive removal readied the substrate for carpet tile, vinyl base, and transitions.
Wall preparation, paint, four outlets, a relocated data line, and a partition extended the work beyond flooring throughout the unoccupied suite.

The Flooring Sequence
From existing floor to finished suite.
The visual sequence follows removal, exposed concrete, preparation, patching, and carpet installation, showing how work beneath the finish supported the final surface.
Flooring Removal
Removal exposed the concrete substrate across the main office and adjoining rooms.

Mechanical Preparation
Mechanical preparation addressed the substrate and residual adhesive before installation.

Localized Patching
Localized patches crossed open areas and wrapped existing columns, walls, and door zones.

Carpet Tile Installation
Carpet tile advanced through the suite around columns, thresholds, and adjoining rooms.

Base + Finish Interfaces
Vinyl base and transitions completed the carpet at walls, doorways, and adjoining surfaces.

Removal exposed the slab; preparation readied it for installation; base and transitions completed the floor plane.

Painting + Finish Updates
A quiet palette, carried room to room.
Patching, sanding, and spot priming prepared surfaces for the primary color, accent paint, and final touchups.

Partition Construction
An approximately 8-by-14-foot metal-stud and drywall partition prepared for paint.
Transitions + Base
Vinyl base and transitions completed the flooring at walls and doorways.

Completed Office
A unified finish across open areas and private rooms.
The carpet pattern carries through the broad open office, around existing columns, and into perimeter rooms.

Project Approach
Plan the interfaces before the finish.
Preparation, infrastructure, and finish work were sequenced around the suite’s existing conditions and connections.
Protect + Prepare
Prepare walls and floors while protecting adjacent areas.
Integrate Infrastructure
Add outlets, relocate data, and build the partition around existing conditions.
Install + Finish
Carry carpet tile, base, transitions, paint, and touchups through the suite.
Maintain the Work Area
Provide daily cleanup and remove debris at completion.
Plan the Next Space
Make the process visible—and the finished space cohesive.
